Wiltshire Based Support For Our Services

Thanks to the Wiltshire Community Foundation, we have been awarded a £7,000 grant to support our work during the Coronavrius pandemic.

The funds will be used to purchase items across our services in Wiltshire, including kettles and microwaves so that our residents are able to become self sufficient in the case of isolation.

Additionally we will also be enable us to provide thorough cleans out clients rooms and throughout our homes, in order that new referrals are not put at risk and current residents are safe.

These funds will enable us to put these vital measures in place and reduce the chances of contamination, ensuring the safety of our residents and staff.

Since being founded in Wilton, Wiltshire almost 30 years ago, Alabaré now run a whole range of services across the county. This includes support for rough sleepers, Veterans, Young People and those with learning disabilities.

Andrew Lord, Alabaré Chief Executive says:

"The Coronavirus pandemic has severly impacted our ability to raise funds here at Alabaré. It is essential that we are able to bring in funding from various streams in order to mitigate against any losses we may face and be able to continue our support of the homeless and vulnerable. We are therefore incredibly grateful to the Wiltshire Community Foundation for their generous support at this moment in time."
