Wilton Emporium Opens!

The sun is been shining at the grand opening of Wilton Emporium!

We would like to thank our amazing team of volunteers, staff and supporters for making the day possible.

Huge thanks to The Mayor of Wilton, Councillor Trevor Batchelder for officially opening the superstore. He said;

“May I say how delighted I am to welcome Wilton Emporium to Wilton. On a day like this there can only be one outcome - and that is total success. I need to make myself and everyone aware it is the Alabaré volunteers that make this happen. Having been shown around this morning, I couldn’t help but notice that so many of the items on display have been refurbished by the Alabaré team and their volunteers. Thanks to their talents there are some wonderful items of furniture on display, all of which will help to raise essential funds for the great work of Alabaré."

Lynn Ireland, retail manager at Alabaré;

“I am really excited about this new venture. Alabaré are going to be turning around the way people go charity shopping in the Salisbury area. The superstore will not only sell donated goods to raise vital finds for its projects but it will also house independent traders selling specialised items. We are looking for volunteers to help out at the warehouse so if you can spare a few hours a week we would love to hear from you.”

Wilton Emporium covers two floors and offers 6,000 square feet - filled with furniture, homewares, electricals, clothing and much more.
