We've Secured Our Second Home For Veterans In Gloucester!

We are pleased to announce that we have now completed the purchase of our second Gloucestershire Home for Veterans. Gloucester has a proud military tradition with the Rifles and the Gloster playing key roles in the local community. The opening of this home in Longlevens means that we can now support 12 vulnerable veterans across Gloucestershire who have previously struggled in their transition to civilian life.

We opened our first Veterans Home in Plymouth, in 2009, and now five years on, are proud to say that we are the largest provider of dedicated accommodation for homeless Veterans of working age, outside of London. Our Homes offer Veterans the support they need to move on and live more independently; gaining the skills they need to transition to their own home. We have received great support from the local community and have a fantastic group of Mentors & Befrienders who are volunteers who live locally and link up with our Veterans, providing them with a friendly face and someone who will stand by them as they take their next step back into independence.

We underlined our commitment to the Armed Forces community by signing the Ministry of Defence Armed Forces Corporate Covenant earlier this year. The Corporate Covenant is a voluntary pledge made by businesses and charitable organisations who wish to publically demonstrate their support for the Armed Forces community.
