Thousands Get On Their Glow At Longleat
Alabaré once again teamed up with Glow in the Park to hold the immensely popular Glow Run event at Longleat Safari Park!
The 6k family fun-run saw over 3,300 participants jog and dance their way around the different zones for a fun-filled night, all whilst raising funds for the most vulnerable in our society.
There were some very special guests at this year’s event as we were joined by Viscountess Weymouth and Hollywood stars Idris Elba and Luke Evans, who got our Glow Runners pumped up during the energising warm-up.
Rebecca Mullen, our fundraising and events manager said:
“We were delighted to be joined by so many first time Glow Runners, who we hope enjoyed the event as much as we did! With the sponsorship money from those taking part, we can truly make a difference to the lives of the homeless and marginalised members of our local communities.”
Alabaré are incredibly grateful to all of those who came along to support our event and also to those who gave up their time to volunteer on the night. Special thanks go to Viscount and Viscountess Weymouth for allowing us to use Longleat as a venue. To the teams from Serve On and Team Rubicon for giving up their time as marshals and also for Disco Dion who provided the soundtrack for a fantastic night.
