Thank you to Members of Normandy Troop, 249 Gurkha Signal Squadron, 3rd (UK) Division Signal Regiment, who tabbed a distance of 1407 km; the equivalent distance from Land’s End to John O’ Groats in order to raise money for our services!

Pawan Rai, who was amongst those taking part, commented;

“Carrying 15kg, from 6-19 Jun we will be walking a distance of 1407 km; the equivalent distance from Land’s End to John O’ Groats. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible so that Alabare can continue to support and care vulnerable people in our communities.”

The group of 25 have reached their total fundraising goal of £2,500 which will be split between Alabaré and The Royal Signals Charity.

We are incredibly grateful to those who took part and thank them for their amazing support!
