Staff and volunteers gathered to celebrate the 28 years of service given by Reverend John Proctor to Alabaré.

The celebrations at Salisbury Guildhall marked Reverend Proctor’s time with Alabaré, from its founding in 1991 to its current position of supporting over 1,700 people each year across homes throughout the South West of England and Wales.

The evening itself comprised of speeches from a number of staff members past and present all paying tribute to John’s contribution ahead of his retirement.

MP for Salisbury and South Wiltshire, John Glen who was in attendance said;

"John has made an enormous contribution to Alabaré in founding the charity, developing it and delivering it in to the lives of thousands of vulnerable people. He is truly a great man and I am humbled to have served him in Parliament.”
