We are proud to announce the opening of our new property in Chippenham, Marshfield House, which will provide six bed spaces for our Young People's supported housing services.

The property was officially opened by Cllr Ross Henning of Chippenham whilst the afternoon also the house blessed by Alabaré's senior chaplain Keith Thomasson.

The purchase of Marshfield House has been made possible thanks to the support of a £1.2 million loan from Lloyds Bank. The loan has enabled us to purchase not only Marshfield House but also an additional property in Devizes and two further homes in Salisbury.

Vanessa Bedford, Alabaré's Operations Manager for Children, Young People & Development Centres said;

"It is exciting to open Marshfield House today. It is always special when a property belongs to us because we are our own landlords and it is an asset in more ways than one to the organisation.

The staff team have worked hard to get the place clean and tidy along with some great tradesmen. The opening of the house means along with 6 x 2 bed flats we are renting from Greensquare, we will be delivering 12 beds of support to Young People in the Chippenham area alongside Unity House where our older homeless clients are supported by Alabaré.

I would like to thank our local Councillor’s Ross Henning & Peter Hutton for coming and also Peter Evans From Wiltshire Council Contracts."
