Nationwide Salisbury Team Double Marathon Challenge

The team at Nationwide Salisbury will be taking part in a two part challenge to help raise money for Alabaré. On Friday 20th April, the team will running a full 26.2 mile marathon in the banking hall on a treadmill with each member of staff taking part.

On the day the event takes place, there will also be a cake sale and raffle with all proceeds going towards Alabaré.

The Nationwide team have said; 

“We're looking forward to embracing the marathon spirit whilst serving our members and fundraising for a charity that’s close to our hearts”

Then on Sunday 22nd April, senior branch manager Lee Syrett will be running the London Marathon in aid of Alabaré. Lee was the lucky winner of our competition with the prize of taking part in the World famous event.

Lee is a keen runner and a member of the City of Salisbury Athletics and Running Club. After winning our competition he said;

“I am delighted to be fulfilling a lifetime ambition whilst raising money for an amazing local charity”
