May ENews

Welcome to our May edition of Alabaré Enews.  We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our Young People's Appeal so far. However, we still urgently need help. Our Young People's services help people like Alice, who found herself with nowhere to go after a family breakdown. Read her story here.

Victorious at the Cumbrian Challenge

On Saturday 13th May a team from our Gloucestershire and Bristol Homes for Veterans, supported by Tony Lovegrove from Walking with the Wounded, took part in  the Cumbrian Challenge.

Around 160+ teams from across the country gathered to take on the challenge. The groups were made up of other Military teams, corporates, general members of the public, and families. The theme this year was ‘Challenge Yourself’ and the team certainly did that..........

Milling at Old Sarum

A huge thank you to Richard from Cedarwood Tree Services who dropped by our Old Sarum Development Centre to show our clients how to mill wood.

Everyone had a great time watching the tree being professionally milled. Now they cannot wait to get into the workshop to create masterpieces from the planks that were made.

Classic cars come to Wilton Emporium

It was great to see a huge turn out at our very first classic car day at our Emporium in Wilton. The gathering saw some great examples of classic and vintage cars. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported us. We all had a great day and we hope you did too.
