Join Our #HomesNotStreets Campaign

On the 1st September, we joined forces with the National Housing Federation to highlight our concerns about funding for Supported Housing for vulnerable people.

The campaign, Homes Not Streets: transforming lives through supported housing, is raising awareness of the proposed extension of the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) cap to rents in the Supported Housing Sector as part of a drive for fairer funding for supported housing.

Alabaré have joined forces with the National Housing Federation’s Starts at Home Campaign.  The campaign aims to highlight the unique benefits of supported housing to show why it is so important to individuals and society. Being homeless can have a serious impact on a person’s physical and mental health. Not having a secure address can make it difficult to access services and almost impossible to keep down a job. Without a strong financial base, supported housing services across the country are at risk of being closed.

Please join us on social media and help us raise awareness of this critical matter.
