Inspire Awards - November To December 2014
Yvonne Way, Alabaré's Property Manager, received an Inspire Award in November.
"Yvonne I feel has gone above and beyond her role over this past year in managing a challenging workload along with a complex and increasing property portfolio.... Yvonne is a caring and compassionate colleague who will always go the extra mile for Alabare. I feel it is time Yvonne's hard work and dedication is recognised."
Chas Taylor, Tim Byford, Marcus Burns and Dan Hoks have been recognised for their inspiring work getting young people involved in music.
"The Soundwave music project has been running at The Junction for just over a year now and has proven a huge success for the team, The Junction and Alabaré as a whole. Tim and Chas assisted in the funding application and planning of the programme, constantly reviewing and changing this programme to meet the needs of our service users. 37 young people have now passed their Bronze Arts Award, some are still working towards this award with many more signing up each week.Dan Hooks has been working with us recently to help advertise our project and to keep our Facebook updated. Helping with the Oxjam preparations. Marcus has been volunteering with us and has recently started to cover leave. He is always enthusiastic about the work he carries out but especially the music. This team of staff & volunteers have enthusiasm, joy and dedication to keep the project moving and developing."
