Goodbye Jonathan!

We are sad to announce that our Senior Chaplain, Canon Jonathan Martin, will soon be leaving Alabaré. Jonathan has been with us since 2013 and has been instrumental in creating a volunteer chaplaincy team to serve all of our homes and services. Jonathan has been an encouraging and caring member of the Alabaré team and we will be sad to see him go. Here are few words from Jonathan;

“Well I can say the word now. Alabaré! I even find myself correcting friends and colleagues. I like Karen Bell (our HR manager)’s tip best of all – ‘Say Cabaret, then Alabaré.’  Alabaré reminds us that we are in the business of encouraging and praising. To engage with such a positive working community like Alabaré can only have changed me for the better. Thank you for allowing me to serve you as your senior chaplain for all too brief a period of time. Alabaré a mi senor. Praise to my God.”

Jonathan, from everyone here at Alabaré: “We wish you all the best for the future and will miss having you around. Please make sure to visit us when you can!”
