Final ‘Glow In The Park’ Lights Up Longleat
Thousands of participants lit up Longleat in our final ever Glow in the Park event at the historic venue. The event saw those taking part jog and dance their way around the different ‘glow zones’ in a fun-filled night on the 6km course.
Alabaré have been hosting the Glow in the Park event at Longleat annually since 2016 and it has raised over £100,000 to support their work with the homeless and vulnerable.
Rebecca Mullen, Alabaré’s Fundraising and Events Manager said:
“We have been privileged to have been able to bring our Glow in the Park eventst o Longleat and in the process raising thousands of pounds to support those in our services. We hope that those who have taken part in the events have enjoyed them as much as we have!”
The participants were welcomed to the event by Viscountess Weymouth, Emma Thynn, who made a special journey down to the event despite her involvement with this year’s Strictly Come Dancing!
Alabaré would like to thank all of those who have supported the events over the years and for the volunteers who haven given up their time to make them possible.
Special thanks go to Longleat and in particular Viscount and Viscountess Weymouth for allowing us to use the venue. To the teams from Serve On and Team Rubicon for giving up their time as marshalls and also for the amazing Disco Dion for supplying the tunes to keep the crowds glowing!
