As the freezing weather continues, rough sleepers will be exposed to dangerously cold conditions.

Here is how you can help:

1. If you are in England or Wales, contact Street Link. This service helps to connect rough sleepers with local services. streetlink.org.uk

2. Due to freezing conditions, emergency winter night shelters are in operation. If you are based in Wiltshire Alabaré will be providing an extra 12 emergency bed spaces at our Salisbury Drop In Centre. Visit your local Council if you need support or go to Homeless Link for more information: homeless.org.uk/search-homelessness-services

3. If you are homeless or you are worried about someone sleeping rough you can also call the Emergency Duty Service on 08456 070888

4. If the person appears to be in immediate danger you should call 999.

5. One of the most important things you can do is simply stop and talk to someone. Rough sleeping is an lonely and scary experience – a friendly face can make a massive difference.

6. Alabaré provides drop in centres, homes and training facilities to homeless people in need. Our aim is to help people off the streets for good. You can help us by donating today: alabare.co.uk/donate
