Break In At Wilton Emporium

We are devastated that our charity shop, the Wilton Emporium was broken in to during the early hours of August 28th.

During the incident our van was stolen - A white Luton Connect van with registration MJ11 TBY. The vehicle contained a number of items from our shop, some of which had our price tags on with Alabaré written on the tags.   In addition a great deal of damage was done to the front and inside of our shop as those responsible smashed their way into our office and safe.

As you can imagine, this awful incident has come at a great cost to us, both emotionally and financially, as we have been forced to make repairs and alternative arrangements to keep our shops running, using funds that we would have otherwise been used to support our vulnerable clients.

We are so grateful for the kind messages we have received during this difficult time period – and would like to thank those wanting to make a donation to help us during this difficult period – we have a page on our website where you can do so at - www.alabare.co.uk/donate

If you have information on the whereabouts of the van or items inside, please contact the Police by calling 101 and quote crime reference number 54190084920.
