Salisbury Rotary Swimathon
Huge congratulations to Darryn Millman and his son Ben who took part in the Salisbury Rotary Clubs annual Swimathon at Godolphin School in Salisbury. Darryn works at our Old Sarum Development Centre where he teaches computer skills to adults with learning disabilities.
Darryn is hoping to raise enough money to buy an Apple Mac, Photoshop software and a computer light pen so that he can teach the clients how to edit photos and create movies.
If you can, please show your support by donating to their give.net page.
Earlier on in the month South East Wales Homes for Veterans enjoyed a day of climbing in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
The climbing took place on Morlais Quarry, site of the old Morlais Fortress. Although a challenging day, everyone had a great time. A huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers involved, making the day such a success.
One of our fantastic fundraisers Cath Toogood is taking on the Icelandic Lava Trek in July to help us raise funds for our Homes for Veterans. The 5 day trek will take her through some of Europe's most incredible wilderness.
With 3 months to go training is going well but Cath needs your support. If you can please donate to her give.net page Help her to help us transform the lives of those in need.
