Alabaré celebrate the start of new contracts

Alabaré are delighted to announce the news that we have won our tenders to retain the provisions of key services across Wiltshire. As part of our close working relationship with Wiltshire Council, we will continue to provide help and support to young people across the county as well as vulnerable adults.

As of early April, there has been a number of changes to our homelessness and young people's services in Wiltshire. We are now able to provide 64 bed spaces in South Wiltshire for those who are homeless or facing the prospect of being so, as well as a further 21 in the North of the county.

In addition, we have also been able to retain our young people's services in Devizes and Trowbridge as well as securing an additional three bed spaces in Salisbury. As of the 1st of July this year we would have also gained additional services in Devizes, Trowbridge and Chippenham.

Andrew Lord, Alabaré CEO says;

“We are extremely pleased to once again receive the backing of Wiltshire Council to continue our provision of services across the county. Alabaré work hard to transform the lives of service users across various different specialisms and we are delighted to continue this in to the foreseeable future. We have always been immensely proud of the services we provide and this latest decision only serves to highlight the faith held in Alabaré by Wiltshire Council."

Richard Clewer, cabinet member for housing at Wiltshire Council said:

“We want to ensure our most vulnerable people have the support and help they need. I’m pleased Alabaré will continue to work with us on programmes for the homeless and providing a wide range of support for young people.”
