AGM 2014

We celebrated our achievements of the past year at Salisbury City Hall on the 16th July. Our Chairman and founder John Proctor kicked off the proceedings with the official business of the AGM. Our Chief Executive, Andrew Lord then took over the microphone to introduce each of the afternoon’s presentations.

Andrew began by introducing the audience, made up of our staff, volunteers, service users and supporters, to the ‘back room’ staff (finance, HR and marketing teams) that, working behind the scenes at the charity’s Riverside House base. The audience were then treated to presentations and videos from our Young People, Veterans, Learning Disability, Mental Health, and Homelessness specialisms.

Andrew Lord, summed up why we hold the event;

“Last year we supported 3150 people. We were able to do so thanks to the hard work and dedication of many people; staff, volunteers, trustees and ambassadors. Without them, and of course, our residents and service users, we wouldn’t be where we are today. This celebration is for all of them.”
