Last night at Salisbury Cathedral we hosted an event to celebrate our 30 years of changing the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our communities. We were delighted to be joined by some of the incredible Alabaré’s supporters who have been with us since day one; those who helped our founders Reverend John and Alicia Proctor fundraise to buy Barnabas House so that homeless people in Salisbury had somewhere to live and the support they needed to help rebuild their lives, and those who have helped us since then.

So much has happened since those founding days, and we have grown to be able to help hundreds of vulnerable people each year.  Our anniversary has been an opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has walked with us, prayed with us and helped us be there for those in need.  We will rely on their continued support which is vital so we can be here, giving life-saving help, in the years ahead.

Despite the evening's inclement weather everyone was in good spirits; a great opportunity to meet face to face for the first time in months and to hear from our Chairman, Founders, staff and past clients.

Don't forget you can read lots of our client, staff and supporter stories on our website; keep checking back to read more as we share those celebrating our anniverary in 30 years, 30 stories.  Your support is invaluable, thank you.
