Alabaré began working on projects with CBSA in July 2019, the first of which is in Leominster, Herefordshire. The scheme will see a total of nine Armed Forces Veterans assist in the construction of 19 new affordable homes made up of 10 one-, two- and three-bedroom houses and nine one- and two-bedroom apartments, which the Veterans will be given the chance to live in upon completion which is anticipated in December 2020.

Waterworks Lane is a collaboration between Alabaré Community Self Build Agency, Stonewater Housing and The Royal British Legion.

Work began on site in September 2019, with the Veteran Self-Builders beginning work on the project in January 2020. The blockwork and foundations have begun to be put in place with scaffolding and timber due to be installed shortly.
