Arts & Music
There are many opportunities to get involved in art and music at Alabaré, from informal sessions to working towards recognised qualifications.
Youth Music - The Sound Wave
If you are between 13 and 25 years old you could be eligible to join our arts and music group at The Little Junction in Andover. With a great range of instruments and equipment to try out, you can learn new skills and express yourself. We currently have people in the group who enjoy rapping, playing the guitar and drums, singing, writing poetry and painting. Each member of the group will have the chance to work towards a Bronze Arts Award qualification from Trinity School London. This can then lead on to a Silver Arts Award either at The Little Junction, or elsewhere in the future. To find out more contact The Junction team on 01264 365487.

Steps Club
The Steps Club is a social group where people aged 16+ with learning disabilities can meet to socialise, take part in educational and fun activities, and gain valuable life skills. It takes place every Thursday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and we provide refreshments.
Please call Paula Philp on 01264 323314 for details.
This club is fully inclusive and is supported by staff and 3 volunteers who kindly give up their spare time to keep the group going. It also provides a valuable respite service for parents and carers.
Activities include arts and crafts, games and parties, film nights, singing and cookery. In the summer we meet in a local park or sports ground for a Sports Day. We are also currently working on a music project which will provide some of the members with a Bronze Arts Award.
