Alabare Photography Competition Terms and Conditions

This competition is open to anyone. The subject of the photograph submitted must have a link to the themes given. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions:

All images submitted if they are to be considered for the calendar must be in landscape, a high resolution and saved at their original size, as large as permissible (min size 1MB). Entrants should complete the form entirely. We regret that we are unable to accept postal entries.

All entries must be received by the advertised closing time of 5pm on 3rd August 2020.  Any entries submitted after this time will not be considered.

Entry to the competition is a minimum of £3 per image.  This donation will fund the work of Alabaré to support more homeless and vulnerable people in our communities.

All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them.  We are very happy for you to submit an image that has been published elsewhere or even won a prize (good for you!). It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.

Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, licence to Alabaré Christian Care & Support for a period of two years, to feature in any of the charity’s publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition or any means the charity wishes to pursue that will raise additional funds for the charity.

All entries, if they meet the quality required, will be considered for inclusion in Alabaré’s 2021 Calendar.

There is no limit to the number of entries per person. Late, incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Entries must not be sent through agencies or third parties.

Alabaré Christian Care & Support and its representatives reserves the right to reject any image which it deems inappropriate or inflammatory.

The judges and the photography working committee are not allowed to win the competition.
