Spinnaker Tower Big Sleep

Spinnaker Tower Big Sleep

05 Nov 2021

Alabaré's Spinnaker Tower Big Sleep is a fantastic opportunity to join us and truly sleep amongst the stars. That's 110 metres up Portsmouth’s iconic landmark building sleeping overnight at the top of the tower! As the event also falls on Bonfire Night we are expecting a bird's eye view of the celebrations over the Solent which will add to the overall excitement.

The Big Sleep welcomes all those who want to take a stand against homelessness by swapping their beds for sleeping bags, to raise funds and awareness for those who are forced to call the streets their home.

The Big Sleep will start at 8 pm on Friday 5th November March and ends at 6 am on Saturday 6th November.

Participants who are joining us for the Big Sleep pledge to raise a minimum of £100 for Alabaré (£50 for anyone aged 14-18).

976 homeless people died across the four nations last year. By taking part in The Spinnaker Challenge and fundraising for Alabaré, you will be making a difference to the lives of homeless people in Hampshire and other areas.

Alabaré's Homes, Drop-In Centres and training facilities support homeless and vulnerable people. Alabaré helps them transform their lives, providing accommodation and helping them gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to live a fulfilled life. Each year we enable around 2,000 people to come off the streets but our work is challenging and the challenge is getting bigger, with the number of rough sleepers increasing.

Let's end homelessness!
