Salisbury Lantern Parade

06 Dec 2018

Alabaré have teamed up with Salisbury Business Improvement District (BID) and Wiltshire Creative to bring the festive event to the city on 6th December 2018.

The lantern making workshops are taking place on Tuesday, 10am-3pm and Saturday, December 1, 10am-3pm at Salisbury Arts Centre.

The workshops are free of charge and all materials will be provided.

A session for teachers and group leaders will be held on Wednesday, November 7 from 5pm-8pm at the arts centre. Those wishing to attend email kat.jones@wiltshirecreative.co.uk

The lantern procession, which is in its seventh year, will start in the Cathedral Close, and travel through the streets of Salisbury before arriving in the Market Square. We will be fundraising on the night to support its work.

Last year’s procession saw more than 700 lanterns light up the city.
