National Armed Forces Day: Salisbury

This year the National Armed Forces Day celebrations will be taking place in Salisbury with Alabaré having a variety of exciting events taking place between Monday 24th June and Sunday 30th June.
Beating Retreat - Monday 24th June
To mark the beginning o the week, we will be hosting the first ever Beating Retreat to be held at English Heritage's historic Old Sarum Castle. This spectacular military ceremony will honour the Veterans Alabaré supports, and to thank those who currently serve in our military.
Flags of Thanks Exhibition - Monday 24th June to Sunday 30th June
Between the 24th and 30th June, the public are invited along to visit the Flags of Thanks exhibition at St. Thomas's church in Salisbury. Over 1,000 hand crafted flags that have been created by passionate members of the general public from across the UK and further afield will be on display.
Armed Forces Day National Event - Friday 28th to Sunday 30th June
Our team will have a stall on Hudson's Field, where it is anticipated over 250,000 people are expected to attend over the course of the three days. Come and speak to our team where you can find out more about the services we provide to homeless and vulnerable Veterans. We will also be hosting a variety of fun activities on the stall so please do come along and say hello if you are attending over the weekend!
D-Day Darlings at Wilton Shopping Village - Sunday 30th June
We will be in attendance at the Wilton Shopping Village all day for the concert of Britain's Got Talent finalists, The D-Day Darlings! We will have an information stall in order for those visiting to learn more about our services. We are also priviledged to receive some of the proceeds towards the VIP tickets and thank Wilton Shopping Village for their support.
