Cafe Coordinator, Old Sarum Development Centre, Salisbury

Alabaré are recruiting a full time Cafe Co-ordinator based in Old Sarum Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Our Alabaré Development Centres offer vocational training and meaningful day activities to vulnerable adults with a variety of needs. We have two development centres in Wiltshire

The purpose of this role is to supervise and assist service users, some with additional needs and Learning Disabilities with all activities within the café/take away service, ensuring that they are encouraged and developed to their optimum potential.

To produce menus and food for the Café and a possible take away service for clients and the local community.

For this post we are looking for someone who has had experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and chaotic lifestyles.

Hold or be prepared to undertake a recognised Food Hygiene Certificate

develop and carry out where instructed, NOCN, NVQ or any other training as may be defined by the charity.

The hours are full time, 37.5 per week, working Tuesday to Saturday.

The annual salary is £22,854.00 rising to £23,341.50 on completion of a successful probation period.

You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a road worthy vehicle for this post.

Senior Service Manager - Young People Leaving Care

Alabaré are recruiting for a Senior Service Manager to oversee the Young People Leaving Care Services in Bournemouth and across Wiltshire.

We are seeking someone with an understating of the needs of homeless young people and care leavers.

Ideally, you should have experience of working in Supported Housing Services including Housing Management, developing and maintaining successful relationships with agencies both statutory and independent. Have experience of working with Children's social care departments to ensure the right support is in place.

You should be able to prioritise and meet agreed deadlines, be IT literate, be articulate and motivational communicator both orally and written. Either hold an appropriate qualification or have the willingness to work towards a management qualification.

This is a full time post with an annual salary of 31,161.00 rising to £34,261.50 on completion of a successful probation period. May Include some working of unsociable hours including weekends and Bank Holidays and part of a Management on Call rota system.

You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a road worthy vehicle to apply for this post.

Service Manager - Andover Foyer

We have a vacancy for a Service Manager to Manage Andover Foyer.

To take on responsibility for the development and running of specified Young Peoples Service project alongside the Operations Manager. 

To ensure supervision and co-ordination of the work of the project to ensure compliance with the requirements of the funder(s).  In particular to act as one of the primary point of contact/referral for the project(s), co-ordinating allocations/referrals and Support Plan reviews including Case Management review and providing a focal point for the team to facilitate a co-ordinated approach on a day to day basis.  To person centre approach on all levels to running the project effectively.

This is a full time post with a salary of £26,871 rising to £28,567.50 per annum

This service will initially be open between the hours of 9am until 11pm 7 days a week

We are looking for someone who has experience of Administration, working with vulnerable client groups and able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.

You will be contracted to work 15 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £9.65 per hour, rising to £9.89 per hour after successful probation period. Giving you an annual salary of £7,527.00 - £7,714.20. This role is based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

Night Support Worker - Wiltshire Veterans

Rough Sleeper Support Worker - The Haven, Trowbridge

We require someone to work 28 hours per week on a rota basis, example of rota is three 6 hour night shifts starting at 8pm until 2 am and two 5 hour night shifts 8pm until 1 am. this is flexible and can be discussed at interview. 

You will provide a supportive and safe environment to rough sleepers accessing the Trowbridge Homeless Shelter, enabling them to maintain their placement.

28 hours per week with an annual salary is £14,050.40 rising to £14,399.84 after a successful probation period.
