Housing Support Worker, Supported Housing South - Alabaré Place Salisbury

We require a Full Time Housing Support Worker to join our team.  You will need to provide person centred support to people with diverse complex needs to enable them to live independently.  The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with either homeless clients or in a supported housing environment, they will also need the right attitude, have excellent organisational skills and understand the importance of working as part of a team.

Full training will be provided for the right individual.  

The annual salary is £18,817.50 rising to £19,285.50 after a successful probation period.

Rough Sleeper Support Worker - The Haven, Trowbridge

We require someone to work 28 hours per week on a rota basis, example of rota is three 6 hour night shifts starting at 8pm until 2 am and two 5 hour night shifts 8pm until 1 am. this is flexible and can be discussed at interview. 

You will provide a supportive and safe environment to rough sleepers accessing the Trowbridge Homeless Shelter, enabling them to maintain their placement.

The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with either homeless clients or in a supported housing environment, they will also need the right attitude, have excellent organisational skills and understand the importance of working as part of a team.

Full training will be provided for the right individual.  

28 per week with an annual salary is £14,050.40 rising to £14,399.84 after a successful probation period.

Field Kitchen Manager based in South West Wales

To manage the Field Kitchen Social Enterprise in line with agreed policies and procedures in order to maximise income for Alabaré . 

Create and deliver a range of food offerings, recruit, manage and train volunteer Catering Students from Alabaré  Veterans, attend events with Street Food equipment, and sell food to benefit Alabaré. 

Oversee the Field Kitchen in regards to health and safety, training issues and security.

Alabaré are recruiting a full time Media & Publications officer to be based in Salisbury, Wiltshire.

To be passionate about telling the stories of Alabaré. To show and tell the world the stories of the homeless and vulnerable clients we support and their journeys. To create innovative new ways to inform and persuade audiences to help grow a committed and engaged supporter following, and maximise the potential of our existing communication channels.

To take a lead role in growing awareness of Alabaré, our services and our fundraising activities through the press and media. To create high quality press releases to grow engagement, and to manage reactive press relations should they be required. To represent Alabaré to the media when required.

To write high quality content for publications, and for internal and external communications.

To help deliver the Fundraising & Marketing Plan, and the Alabaré Strategic Plan.

Annual salary £25,486.50 rising to £25,974.00

Night Support Worker - Young People, Andover Foyer

We are recruiting for a Waking night Support Worker responsible for the safety, security and wellbeing of young people between the ages of 16 and 21. You will be supporting the residents to reduce risks and enhance their wellbeing, liaising with and reporting to Children’s Services when required

This post is based in Andover Hampshire.

25.5 hours per week, will include working unsociable hours, to be part of a flexible rota including bank holidays.

A 10% enhancement is paid for unsociable waking hours from 11pm to 7am.

Senior Care Support Worker - Emmaus Community, Supported Living 

We require a Senior Care Support Worker to manage a team of Care staff enabling 8 adults with a learning disability spread across 2 houses based in Salisbury.

To be responsible for the day to day running of the service working alongside the management team.

The position calls for a flexible approach and will involve assisting the Team Leader to develop innovative and effective practice, relating to team building, service user involvement, key working and outcome monitoring.

37.5 hours per week on a rota basis 7 days per week including evening weekends and bank holidays.

Hourly rate £10.88 - £11.10.  Sleepovers are optional and are paid £50.00 per night.

We are looking to recruit Housing Support Workers based in Bournemouth or Salisbury, to provide support and advice around accommodation, basic life skills, welfare benefits, health and personal issues: all allowing service users to work towards independent living.

37.5 contracts available, all contracts will include working unsociable hours, to be part of a flexible rota including bank holidays.

All applicants are required to hold a full driving licence with access to a road worthy vehicle.

A 10% enhancement is paid for unsociable waking hours from 11pm to 7am.
