Mission: To support clients wanting to take control of their own lives in their own homes, helping them to understand their tenancy agreement and rights.
Wyndham Road is home to four adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It is funded by Supporting People and aims to give each individual personal choice, responsibility and control of their own lives. Staff and volunteers provide service users with personalised support in areas such as understanding their tenancy agreements, managing their finances and dealing with benefit claims. They also give them emotional support where necessary and signpost them to other appropriate services and agencies. The London Road house opened in March 2008 and offers support and accommodation to six people, and in October 2008 we opened our latest house in Gorringe Road with space for three residents with learning disabilities.

Outcomes for clients:
- Developing domestic and practical skills to help them stay safe and secure
- Becoming a self advocate and liaising with statutory agencies
- Increased confidence within the community and the ability to access other agencies and health care
- Enjoying, identifying and pursuing their aspirations through training, education, employment and hobbies – increasing confidence and self-worth
- An increased awareness and personal responsibility around safety and security
The referral pack and information below is for all three houses.
