Volunteering

Alabaré Christian Care Centres was set up by a strong team of volunteers with support and encouragement from the local community. This support has been the bedrock for the majority of our projects and remains so today. We currently have volunteers working in all departments of Alabaré, but we still need more help.

The roles that our volunteers fulfil are endless, but here are a few: sleepovers in our hostels, administration support, supervising project work at our Countryside Unit, driving and escorting clients to appointments.

Whatever your reason, volunteering with Alabaré will provide you with the opportunity to enhance the quality of someone’s life – as well as your own. If you decide to volunteer, we can help you discover where your skills can be best applied. We try to match volunteers and our clients or staff, aiming to achieve happy and fulfilling friendships.
