Training and Advice
Helping service users gain the skills they need for independent living is one of the most important ways we can help break the cycle of homelessness for them. We offer a range of training opportunities so that service users can gain useful skills, such as managing and maintaining tenancies, budgeting and IT. There are also opportunities for some of our younger service users to work on issues such as anti-social behaviour, crime, sexual health and family matters. We also run workshops of a more therapeutic nature in woodwork, pottery, arts and crafts and horticulture. By enabling service users to develop skills on both a personal and practical level we are empowering them to help themselves.
