When we first started met Eric he was living in a care home for adults with learning disabilities.
He struggled communicating and would avoid conversation. However, after moving into our dedicated supported accommodation for those with learning disabilities his confidence improved greatly and he has made many friends in his new home.
His independence grew and life skills improved with the help of our staff.
At first, he struggled with basic tasks such as cooking and shopping but our team helped develop his confidence and soon he was managing to shop and cook independently.
Eric also enjoys swimming and walking and loves reading magazines and papers.
Before moving into our home, Eric would not be able to leave the house on his own. Now he is able to get the bus and complete a variety of tasks independently.
