Alice's Story

Alice became homeless at 16.

After a family breakdown, she was forced out of her home. Isolated from the world that she once knew, Alice began to find life very hard to deal with.

Luckily, she was referred to Alabaré and was quickly moved into one of our homes. We were able to offer her the lifeline she desperately needed to move forward positively.

"Since being at the project, the staff have helped me find myself. I have gained so much from living here. The relationship with my family has become a lot better and I am now in contact with them again."

"Alabaré have given me the help I needed to move on with my life and helped me prepare for independent living. Since being here, I have been given the opportunity to study. I have taken A-Levels in Chemistry, Maths, Journalism and Creative Writing. I found out that I have been accepted into my first choice of university to study Chemistry - a subject I love."

"Without the help and support of everyone at Alabaré I would be in a much darker place. Thank you to everyone who believed in me."
