Mission: To provide resettlement support to clients moving on from an Alabaré project in South Wiltshire, therefore freeing up space at the projects for new clients.
The Resettlement service is based at Damascus House and Barnabas House and is aimed at helping clients to move successfully into independent living. The service provides them with both practical and personal support prior to their move and for up to six weeks after. By enabling clients move into independent living, the Resettlement Team is helping free up more space at the projects for new clients.
Outcomes for clients:
- Developing the skills and knowledge to make a successful transition into independent living.
- Increased awareness around personal responsibility , safety and security
- Increased ability to make informed choices by identifying and offering the best alternatives and supporting clients’ decisions.
- Finding suitable accommodation in line with their needs.
