Coffee morning at South Canonry
30th August 2007
Join the Bishop’s wife for Coffee and help raise money for Alabaré Christian Care Centres.
Mrs Sarah Stancliffe will be opening her home, the South Canonry in Cathedral Close, to the public for a coffee morning on Friday 21st September between 10am and midday.
There’ll be coffee and a selection of homemade cakes, as well as the chance to buy some hand crafted pottery items from service users at our Barford Countryside Unit, unique bags and cushions made from recycled materials by our Mad About Green project and handmade cards for all occasions.
The money raised from the coffee and cake will go towards the Salisbury Drop In Centre. The Centre offers a warm and welcoming daytime shelter to homeless and vulnerable people, providing them with hot food and drink, washing and laundry facilities, a clothing exchange service and advice and information on issues like housing, employment and health.
The money raised through the sale of crafts will go directly to the project that made them.
Entrance to the coffee morning is £2.50 and covers the cost of a drink and a piece of yummy homemade cake.
