Local young people's charity opens its doors to the public
21st February 2007
The Junction (part of the Test Valley Foyer Project) based in Junction Road works supporting the needs of vulnerable young people in Andover. On Tuesday 20th March 2007 we will be holding an Open Day to give all sections of the local community an opportunity to see the Centre and something of the work. The centre will be open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. providing an opportunity talk to staff and those who use the facilities whilst enjoying a drink and light snack.
Dave Millward, The Test Valley Foyer Manaqer, hopes the Open day will
- Continue to raise awareness of the Junction Project
- Highlight The Junctions functions and facilities
- Raise awareness of Room Hire facilities
- Encourage people from all sectors of the community to support this vital work

Notes to Editors
Alabaré Christian Care Centres is a regional charity, providing a range of services including supported housing, floating support services, drop-in centres, information, advice and training services and a registered care home. The charity works with the homeless, ex-offenders, young people, individuals with a learning difficulty, vulnerable women and people with drug and alcohol problems, aiming to assist them with realising their potential and becoming valued members of society.
The Junction provides a safe space and information and advice service for young people ages 13-25 living in the Test Valley area. The service is delivered in partnership with Hampshire County Youth Service and addresses the individual needs of young people, either by providing information directly on a range of issues.
