Volunteer committee members needed

Do you have any spare time to give to Alabaré Christian Care Centres?

The Salisbury-based homeless charity, which has projects across the South and South West, is looking to recruit volunteer committee members.

Members are needed for:

• Audit Committee to cover the whole region – applicants will need an enquiring mind with an eye for detail and an aptitude for finance.

• Health and Safety Committee to cover the whole region – potential members will need knowledge of Health and Safety matters.

•  Care and Support Committees in three areas – Hampshire, North Wiltshire and Bristol.

 Applicants are welcomed from all walks of life who would like to support our work.

We want our committees to contain a diverse mix of people to reflect the communities in which we work.

Alabaré Christian Care Centres is a regional charity, providing a range of services including supported housing, floating support services, drop-in centres, information, advice and training services and a registered care home.  The charity works with the homeless, ex-offenders, young people, individuals with a learning difficulty, vulnerable women and people with drug and alcohol problems, aiming to assist them with realising their potential and becoming valued members of society.
