Join Alabaré’s Learning Disabilities team for a Fun Day

Alabaré’s Learning Disabilities Team is gearing up to host a day of family fun on Saturday 6th August at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre, Salisbury.

The Fun Day begins at 12pm and will include activities and stalls for all the family. Visitors will be able to have a go at the tombola and lucky dip, buy from book and bric-a-brac stalls, and treat themselves to sweets and homemade cakes.

There will be a raffle with the first prize of £50, and plenty of games to get involved in including welly throwing, guess the amount of money in a jar (and win that jar), skittles and fling the frog. There will be a BBQ and refreshments available – including for those who are hungry after the egg and spoon race!

Alabaré supports adults with learning disabilities across a variety of projects, and all proceeds from the Fun Day will go towards these projects.

Alabaré’s Supported Living houses provide accommodation to people with learning disabilities, supporting them to lead a fulfilling life of their choice.  The charity currently has six houses in Salisbury and two in Amesbury, providing accommodation to a total of 32 people. 

Alabaré’s Learning Disability Floating Housing Support and Home and Community projects provide support to clients in their own homes or within the community.
