Barnard’s Cross House provides move on accommodation for up to 8 people, with low to medium support needs, who are ready to move on from our Alabaré Place service.
Having lived with us at Alabaré Place, when you arrive at Barnard's Cross House you'll already know your key worker who will continue to support you. Prior to moving into the house, you would have completed an Action Plan at Alabaré Place, and will be ready to move on to lower levels of support. Barnard's Cross House is located next door to Alabaré Place and so you will still be able to use the hostel facilities.
We want to help you to build constructive and positive relationships within your community, and can help you to identify and pursue your aspirations through training, education, and employment.
Barnard's Cross House was completely refitted in 2011 and now consists of 5 one bedroomed and 3 two bedroomed flats. It is within five minutes walk of Salisbury City Centre and Wiltshire College campus. There are excellent public transport links to other parts of the City, and mainline train services.
Art, music, cooking, health and wellbeing activities, and Tenancy skills training (via Alabaré’s Home & Money programme), are available from Alabaré Place. Further training opportunities are also available through Wiltshire College and TABS.
If you would like more information on the service, please get in touch, or download a copy of our project information sheet.
