Gifts in Kind
These are a great way to utilise your company’s assets and professional skills, achieving your ESG aims and demonstrating your commitment to people in the local community. Donating products, discounted services or professional advice is an easy and valuable way for your business to help us. Gifts in kind can help save us valuable resources and enable us to fundraise even more effectively, meaning that even more money can be spent on our vital work.
Events and Sponsorship
Each year we run several high-profile events and engagement opportunities and invite our partners to provide sponsorship and pro-bono support. This helps to ensure every penny raised can go straight to build a bright future, homes and minds. It also enables our partners to boost their profile in front of a wide range of businesses and supporters across the UK. We can work with each partner to find the right opportunity from our upcoming selection of events.
Payroll Giving
When employees donate through their payroll, the donations come to us before income tax is taken off – so a donation of £10 costs a basic rate taxpayer £8 and a higher rate taxpayer around £6. It’s a flexible way to give – employees can give to several different charities at once and they can increase or decrease donations at any time. It is easy to set up if you’ve not already got a system in place CAF are one organisation you can consider to provide this facility.

Corporate Volunteering
If your organisation would like to give us a hand on a corporate volunteering day, please get in touch. We can accommodate up to 30 people in a day and offer worthwhile activities to complete in either of our Development Centres, Charity Shops or Homes. We may ask for a donation towards the materials used in any DIY projects undertaken, but we will be with you every step of the way.
