Mission: To provide a debt advice service to offenders with debt-related needs enabling them to regain control of their finances and reduce the likelihood of resorting to offending-behaviour.
The Debt Advice Service provides debt-related support to people who have been identified by the National Probation Service. Each service user has their debt-related needs assessed and is offered support in regaining control of their finances. The service provides support in structured sessions with the co-operation of the offender and is delivered throughout Probation Offices in Wiltshire and Swindon.
