Bishop of Ramsbury Drops in at Devizes

The Right Reverend Stephen Conway, Bishop of Ramsbury and Reverend Paul Richardson both popped in to Alabaré’s Drop In Centre in Devizes on Monday 3rd December.

They were there to meet with staff, volunteers and service users.  Bishop Stephen introduced the new Rector Rev. Paul and found out more about the work of Alabaré in North Wiltshire.

The Devizes Drop In Centre offers a warm and welcoming safe daytime shelter for vulnerable adults who are homeless, facing homelessness and living in unsuitable accommodation.  It provides hot meals and drinks, showers, laundry facilities and a clothing exchange service and staff members offer support and advice on housing and employment.  Alabaré also has a number of Supported Housing projects and Floating Support services in North Wiltshire.
