Alabaré hits the road!

South West charity Alabaré Christian Care and Support will be coming to Gloucester Cricket Club, Bristol, on Wednesday 19th October at 5-7pm, to showcase our work with vulnerable and homeless people across the Bristol and North Somerset area.

The Alabaré Roadshow is open to anybody who is interested in finding out more about our work and will give people the chance to meet staff, hear stories from service users about how Alabaré has helped to change their lives, and gain an insight into our work in the local region.

Alabaré has been working in Bristol and North Somerset since 2003, providing dedicated support to the needs of vulnerable groups in the area. The charity works with agencies, individuals and other charities across the vicinity to provide a focused pathway of support for clients. We help service users to gain the skills and confidence they need in order to achieve stability and successful independent living. We also work with them to access training, employment and educational opportunities.

Alabaré provides local support in the following ways:

• Supported housing in Bristol for Armed Forces veterans
• Supported housing for male ex-offenders in Bristol
• Supported housing in Bristol for women at risk from the sex industry
• Changing Lives charity shop in Clevedon
• Supported housing for men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction in Clevedon
• Floating housing support for families across Somerset
