Alabaré event supports mental wellbeing in Wiltshire
Alabaré Include, the Mental health Wellbeing Service, is hosting an information day on Wednesday 30th March, at St John’s Parish Centre in Trowbridge.
The day will be an opportunity to find out more about Alabaré Include, Alabaré and other voluntary organisations supporting people who would like help with their mental wellbeing in the Trowbridge area and Wiltshire.
Visitors to the event will be able to talk to staff from the Alabaré Include service as well as see photos from their enjoyable day activity groups and support groups. The group runs a number of day activities each week, aimed at helping people experiencing mental ill-health to engage with others, gain confidence and learn new skills. Each person also works with a dedicated Community Bridge Builder (support worker) to ensure that they feel supported and confident in making steps forwards.
There will also be a display of the other services that Alabaré provides across Wiltshire and the South West.
Other voluntary organisations working in the same field are also taking part, giving visitors the opportunity to see many of the options and services available to vulnerable adults in the Trowbridge area.
Potential service users, carers, health and wellbeing professionals and members of the general public are encouraged to come along to the Alabaré Include Information Day – doors open from 10am to 3pm and light refreshments will be available.
For more information about the event, or to take part, please call Sally Scott on 07880 557015.
