Alabare Fundraising in 2011-12
Alabaré Sponsored Sleep Outs - Friday 2nd March 2012
On Friday 2nd March over 180 supporters joined Alabaré's sponsored Sleep Out events at eight venues across the region, to raise awareness of the issues of homelessness and raise funds for our projects.
Our supporters braved discomfort and chilly temperatures to sleep outdoors at Salisbury Cathedral, Nothe Fort in Weymouth and Pip 'n' Jays Church in Bristol. Many others joined overnight events at other locations in Wiltshire and Hampshire. We expect the Sleep Outs to raise up to £25,000 for Alabaré's work in Bristol, Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Thank you!
A huge thank you to all the participants, to our many generous sponsors, and to all the venues which supported us.
